Description of Functionality

With a FISCON Pro Bluetooth handsfree, your Audi with fiber ring MMI 2G Basic or Basic-Plus MMI infotainment systems allows for these functions:

Vehicle Integration
	Full integration into the infotainment system with MMI logic.*2
	Displays Data on the FIS-Screen.
	Menu-driven operation.
	Establish, accept and end calls. Mute, regulate volume and numerous setup functions. Everything is operable with the existing buttons in the vehicle.
	Voice output through the vehicle speakers. With distinguished sound quality, no installation of additional speakers is necessary.
	Operation via the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel (where available).
	Usage of the ring-tone of the cellphone*1 on the vehicle speakers.
	Automatic usage of the languages English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese. A lot of other languages are partially supported.
	All original functions of the vehicle remain unaffected.
	Mikrophone housing is fitting exactly to the original position in the dome light.
	Completely invisible installation.

*2	On the vehicles Audi A6 and Q7 the access through the car buttons to the phone section on the center monochrome display is only possible if a PHONE button at the MMI panel is present. Without this button you can switch to the phone section of the MMI by pressing a combination of key on the phone. At incomming calls the car switches automatically to the phone section.

FISCON is suitable for these cars with MMI Basic 2G or MMI Basic-Plus 2G:

The system is not suitable for the current MMI 3G infotainment system. The MMI 3G is available since about modelyear 2009.

Which MMI system do I have?

Below MMI Basic software version 0410 (A6 and Q7 only) a MMI update is required. Audi A4 (8K) and A5 already have the required level from factory so no update is necessary there. MMI update CDs are available in our shop.

At cars with factory installed handsfree it is required to disable the old system with a fiber ring loop. This is available in our shop.
